Eric Bouvron was born in Egypt .
His father is French and his mother Greek..
He grew up in South Africa where he completed his studies.
During a residency at the National Theatre in South Africa, he worked on classical works to musical comedy, but his hunger for discovery brought him to France.
He meets with new horizons such as the Ecole Internationale Jacques Lecoq, Peter Brook through Jean-Paul Denizon, Ariane Mnouchkine and the Nô Theatre (Japan).
Because of his passion and curiosity for the arts he sees each one of his creations as a challenge, blending dance, movement, music, humour, design, poetry…
His aim is to show reality and inform the public in an entertaining way.
The show “Afrika” speaks of the splendour of South Africa. After spending time with the San People in the Kalahari desert, he creates “Bushman” revealing the gentle and fascinating ways of these people.
Apart from producing his own works, he enjoys promoting or directing others artists. (Musicals, comedies, circus shows or magicians)
